Being a cashier at a grocery market can be a very stressful thing. Sometimes you have to deal with angry customers who believe they are always right in which being trained you have to always believe they are. Sometimes even though you know they are not. Also you have to deal with congestion when there is only so many lines open and customers are getting ansty and you have to ring the groceries up as well as bag them it takes longer making the customers wait longer.

McDonalds vs Burger King

McDonalds and Burger King are both well know burger restaurants, in many ways they are different though. McDonalds I believe has better fries over Burger King because they are of course worse for you with the sodium intake. Burger King however I prefer there chicken nuggets/chicken fries. Burger Kings dessert menu is also different but the same from Mcdonalds they both offer milkshakes. Burger King however has its choice of pies and icee freezes. McDonalds however has its well known apple pies and mcflurries. So in many ways Burger King and McDonalds are similar but also different.

       I believe in the Tommy Hilfiger ad the woman is showing the public that the quote "sex sells" is a true statement. By having a woman undressed posing in a cologne ad it makes woman think that if they buy this it will make them feel sexy. For men it will make them feel like that are the type of women who they may attract by wearing that cologne.
       The M&M ad is intended for both children and adults I believe. In the background there is a M&M playing hopscotch a very well known kids game. The painting I believe has to do with adults and art work, but the dark chocolate goes along with the scary and dark portrait.
       In the Slim Fast ad it is aiming toward women who want to lose weight before their wedding. In the advertisement it is showing a wedding cake with the groom bent over trying to help his wife out of the cake in which she has fallen through. Most women try to lose their weight fast and believe if they quick drink slim fast drinks it will help them faster.

Writing Process

My writing process starts out with me coming up what my topic or main idea is. Once I have brainstormed about what i will be writing about, I sit down at my laptop and open Microsoft Word. Once I have done that I make sure my font and the font size are correct as well as making sure the double spacing is turned on. After that is done I then save my document under the tittle of the topic. I then put my heading at the top with my name and information of the paper. I then begin with the introduction and thesis statement, followed by the body which is usually 3-5 paragraphs long. Finally at the end comes the conclusion. I then go back over my paper and analyze it to make sure that it is correctly done.

Free Blog #4

Well I took my first college test today. I must say it was not as difficult as I had expected it to be, even though it was open book and notes. Psychology is probably one of my favorite classes. I took it my junior year of High School and really enjoyed it. It makes me want to go into a profession related to psychology eventually after I earn my Office Administration degree. I would also like to minor in Spanish which was another one of my favorite classes in High School I took four years of spanish and I may not be able to speak fluent spanish but I am getting close. I have been taking online classes for it.

Required Blog #4

When I was a little girl, I lived in Virginia Beach, Virginia with my parents. I can still remember going to the beach almost every weekend. I thought it was such a big deal even though I was only five years old. I can still remember parking the car unloading the chairs, shovels, pails and towels and having to carry them all the way to the sand. My dad would have to carry me to the water when we would first arrive because the sand would be so hot. When my parents would take me to the ocean, which I may add, was only ten minutes from our house. Mom and I unfortunately do not live in Virginia anymore.  I can still smell the salty air and hear the waves crashing at the beach, which brings back so many memories. My family and I would always walk up and down the beach collecting seashells and watching the seagulls fly overhead. I still visit the beach every summer and spring break when I go to visit my dad’s house and it always brings back those early childhood memories that I wish I could have back.

Friday Night Football :)

I absolutely love Friday Night Football. Every Friday I go and watch my boyfriends team play, the Tinora Rams. Tailgating is a fun essential in football, My family and boyfriends family tend to play corn hole or listen to music and grill out before the game. Also I love sitting in the bleachers watching the anticipation of the offense and defense and cheering them on. Another good thing about football is the concession stand. It seems to always be the best food! I love getting popcorn or candy, maybe sometimes pizza instead. My boyfriend plays linebacker and safety, I don't exactly know all the positions but I comprehend most. So far The Rams are 4-0 going on to play Fairview this Friday at Tinora.
